Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding was born Elena Jane Goulding in Hereford on the 30th of December 1986. Ellie Goulding's infectious electronic sound rapidly pushed her into the top charts after she caught the attention of people in the year 2010. Her ability to achieve this feat with her songs "Starry Eyed" and "Guns and Horses". Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding's soprano quirk and ability to compose catchy, but emotional songs put her on the frontline of modern mainstream music, in addition to arty and independent pop. Polydor Records offered her a contract as a major label. She began to prepare for her debut.
