Lis Wehl was born on September 19, 1961, in the US, is an author and an ex-legal expert at Fox News.
She previously served as an associate professor of law in The University of Washington Law School. She has offered legal commentary on the National Public Radio program and on Bill O'Reilly's radio show, The Radio Factor. She has been a frequent guest of The O'Reilly Factor as well Lou Dobbs Today The Kelly File With Megyn Kelly and Neil Cavuto and The Kelly File.
Wiehl was born and raised in Yakima and went to West Valley High School. She received her degree from Barnard College with a Bachelor's degree in 1983. In 1985 she received her master of Arts degree in Literature at the University of Queensland. And in 1987 she was awarded the Juris Doctorate at Harvard Law School.
Wiehl was a prosecutor at the US Attorney's Office. She served as the legal correspondent for NPR All Things Considered. She was principal investigating counsel to the Democrats in the House Judiciary Committee, during Clinton's impeachment. From 1995 until 2001, she was a tenured professor at the University of Washington School of Law in Seattle in which she was the director of the Trial Advocacy Program. Wiehl worked as an analyst for Fox News Legal Analyst from 2001 until 2017.
