Andrea Jeremiah
Andrea Maria Jeremiah works as an Indian playback actress, singer and musician. Her work is primarily focused on Tamil or Malayalam films. Annayum Rasoolum Malayalam film, was her Malayalam acting debut. Andrea Jeremiah has been raised in a Tamil Nadu Anglo-Indian family. Andrea's dad was a Madras High Court lawyer. Her mother is the older sibling of the researcher assistant who lives in Leuven, Belgium. Jeremiah was born in Chennai and attended National Public School and graduated from Women's Christian College. Andrea started studying classical piano at the age of eight. She was a big fan of geeks and wanted to be a psychiatrist. She sang in The Jackson Five style troupe Young Stars when she was 10. This group formed her musical and singing career. The actress was also a stage performer in the college she attended and performed in a variety of performances staged by The Madras Players and EVAM. Andrea was President of the Student Senate at Women's Christian College. Andrea started her career in theatre through Girish Karnad's Nagamandala. She appeared in the Leo Coffee commercial with Shiva. She also starred in a series that was shown on Podhigai. The actress performed all over India. She performed a very brief role in Kanda Mudhal in 2005, which is the finale. Gautham Vaisudev Menon was able to have her sing in Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu and then wanted her to take on in the role of a female character for Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea performed the role of Kalyani the homemaker who's husband is involved in an affair with someone else. Andrea was part of the cast in the aftermath of Simran, Tabu, and Tabu had been approached. The movie was announced in the early part of 2010. It was released in the month of August, 2011. Venkat Prabhu launched his multi-starrer Mankatha. The film was commissioned to play a minor support role. Annayum Rasoolum directed by Rajeeev Ravi, the romantic comedy she made her debut in Malayalam in, was released on the 11th of August, 2013.
