Angela Gossow Urach
Angela Gossow had three younger siblings. She was born in Cologne. Her parents divorced when she was just 17 years old. Their business failed, causing further financial problems. The financial problems of her family are exacerbated due to her eating disorder and anorexia. When asked about her decision to step down as ARCH ENEMY's singer Gossow said simply There's the right time and the proper place for every thing. My professional career started in 1991. My enthusiasm for it slowly diminished. It was much easier to quit than to keep playing. Johan Liiva was the original frontman of the group, Johan Liiva was replaced in 2000 by German singer Angela Gossow. She is a Canadian-born performer who has been the singer of Swedish popular death metal band Arch Enemy since 2008. Before that she had also started The Agonist, a Canadian Metalcore group The Agonist. Arch Enemy is a band that deserves respect.
