Annie Murphy (n e Anne Frances Murphy) was born December 19, 1986. She is Canadian and has been working in the film industry on many different projects. Her most prominent role was of Alexis Rose from the CBC sitcom Schitt's Mill, the series that began in 2014 and ended in the year 2020. Her performance was well-received by critics and she won the Primetime Emmy Award. She was born Ottawa Ontario Canada. Her parents both taught. Annie Murphy launched her acting career when she appeared in the 2007 crime-thriller Telefilm Lethal Obsession. In the following years, she appeared in numerous films either as an actor or in minor parts. Some of her films have been very well received, including Story of Jen from 2008 Lick (2010) as well as A Windigo Tale.
